"Good morning Robyn. I wanted to express my appreciation to you as a mother. After leaving Winfield, we stopped in Austin for mojitos and a toast. The only thing that would have completed this beautiful afternoon would have been if you could have joined us. We would have toasted you for making the budgeting – selection process easy, and even a pleasure.
To the entire Winfield team, including (and I am sure you would agree), importantly, the angels behind the scenes - on the grounds who were so patient with our intrusions and welcomingwith warm demeanors, we immediately sensed a customer "family-culture" that exceeding expectations.
Hal and I feel in our hearts that the experience for our precious only daughter will be one of simple elegance, relaxed and enjoyable. What more could a mom and dad wish for?" (Mother of the Bride after an event planning meeting at the Winfield Inn) posted 5/7/2012
Best Customer Service in Austin Period posted 2/21/2012
Although we chose to have a destination wedding, Winfield Inn was our #1 choice in Austin! I can tell you I did my due diligence and researched every venue, and corresponded with every venues representatives in the greater Austin area. Winfield Inn is not only a beautiful lovely venue but the staff was so sweet, warm, inviting, SUPER responsive, and accommodating. I cannot say enough kind words about planner April who was our conusultant. She was amazing! What a breath of fresh air it was to tour Winfield Inn and talk with April about our wedding after touring all the other venues and dealing with their lackluster correspondence/enthusiasm...Winfield blew everyone out of the water!!! In addition, we thought Winfield was a fabulous bargain with their all-inclusive services! Cheers Winfield Inn, we will definitely sing your praises to anyone who will listen! Ashley and Nicholas
Current Bride planning her wedding says….
"I just have to say this to all of you at The Winfield Inn...you have ALL made this experience so wonderful for both Gerald and myself. As you are well aware, there are many different vendors that we have to work with to bring all of this together as seemlessly as possible. You, by far, have been the most professional, responsive, considerate, helpful and pleasant with each and every aspect of our planning process. Never have I left a conversation feeling like you were frustrated by our questions...never have I been made to feel as though you don't have time for us, even when you are running around trying to take care of other weddings...never have I had second thoughts about our decision to have our wedding at The Winfield Inn. In a world where customer service seems to be lost and/or forgotten, you guys continually show me that it's neither lost or forgotten by anyone there. I am so happy we found you...and cannot wait for our day to arrive. Thank you again, for showing us just how wonderful you are!"
From Mr. Mastell and Ms. Harper (Soon to be Mrs. Mastell),
As someone who really likes to eat, I'd like to reaffirm our reservation to your upcoming wedding. Jeff and Lindsay Walker. Thanks.
You two have flat-out blown me away with your food menu. Even if I kinda thought both of you were proverbial jerks (which I don't), even if I had to walk to Kyle, even if I had my stomach stapled down to a two-inch radius or was under a fasting ritual from God, and I saw
that menu, I would be at your wedding with bib in hand ready to gorge myself. I like food, and that menu kicks major butt.
Seriously though: The menu looks absolutely phenomenal. Every item it seems has a special touch, and there's nothing in there that would
equate to something people are "used" to seeing at a wedding. It's obvious that a lot of special attention was paid to picking out each
selection. I have visions of truffle mac and cheese dancing around in my head.
I also love, regarding the alcohol menu, that everything offered is from Texas, offering support to some great local products. What can I say? I'm super jealous of your wedding menu!
Can't wait for the big event. I'll be there, to-go box in hand.

They took care of everything!!
We got married here in May 2011, and would not change a thing. The fabulous ladies of The Winfield take care of EVERYTHING from start to finish. Robyn worked with my vendors so I didn't have to, reminded me about important details that I would have completely forgotten about, decorated and tore down, coordinated the entire ceremony and reception, and even gracefully accommodated last minute changes - they really are fabulous!!! The venue is absolutely GORGEOUS - it's been a month since our wedding, and we STILL get compliments on our venue! AND, the food is delish! My only complaint would be that it was so HOT during our
reception that we almost couldn't enjoy it. They charge $300 to use a fan in the pavilion, so be prepared for that extra expense if you're having a summer wedding. Overall, the Winfield is the perfect place for a wedding - elegant but simple - and the Winfield ladies will take care of you from start to finish!!
Review from the Wedding Wire:
When looking for our venue, the Winfield was the only place my husband showed a real positive response to, so we knew that was where we were getting married. We worked mostly with April, she was AMAZING and was so helpful and flexible with all of our ideas to make our wedding fun and unique to us. On the day of our rehearsal, April went into labor and Robyn stepped in as our head coordinator, she was also GREAT and did awesome in picking up where April left off. On the day of, all the girls at the Winfield were so helpful in setting up all of our decorations and centerpieces. They were also really great at keeping the whole day going on schedule and making sure we got to do everything we planned and wanted to do during the ceremony and reception. Breakfast the next day was AMAZING, my husband and I both left stuffed! It did end up being a little bit more pricey than what we originally planned for, but everything was so amazing and spectacular I don't regret spending the money for a second!!
The Winfield Inn and staff made our wedding perfect.
The venue is classy without being overdone. The simplicity and natural setting is perfect for someone who wishes to have a outdoor country wedding that can be black-tie or casual. Robyn was our coordinator and never missed a beat. She helped keep everything in order, and made the week and day of as stress-free as possible. They were all kind and professional, and made sure we were always happy. Oh and the food! The Winfield does their own catering, but it us unlike anything you've ever had at a wedding before! They have a very broad menu, and everything we had was delicious. Many of our guests made sure to let us know how much they enjoyed it. I will definitely refer my friends to The Winfield Inn!
Perfect-May 30th 2010 Wedding
We had our wedding here and it couldn't have been more perfect! The grounds were amazing, the staff diligent, helpful and delightful. We had the fajita buffet and no one was disappointed- it was delicious! Robyn and April were such great coordinators, the ceremony and reception couldn't have gone smother. Everyone was in awe that we found such a beautiful and quality venue for such a great price. I've recommended all my friends go there when it's time for them to go down the aisle!
The Winfield Inn is amazing!
A coworker of mine had her wedding there and suggested it to me when I was describing what we were looking for. The moment I stepped out of the car I was sold! There are no words to describe how beautiful it is! We had almost a year of planning before the big day and the staff at The Winfield was there with us every step of the way! They are so flexible and easy to work with...I cannot stress that enough! The best thing about the wedding aside from the beautiful scenery and the amazing coordinators was the food.
Everyone at the wedding was talking about it and some of them are still talking about it!!!
Hi Robyn, April and Jodi,
Words cannot express how happy we were with the staff, the food, the grounds, and the love you all shared in putting together our daughter's wedding. Now that the wedding dust has settled, I am having the opportunity to sit back and remember all the details that went into making the ceremony and reception such a beautiful memory. So many people have commented on how beautiful the venue was, and I cannot wait to see the pictures!
If there is anything we need to come back and get, let me know, and I will come back just for fun and see it all again, I think I still need to come get the cupcake stand? That is a good excuse to come back right? Also, I just wanted to tell you how much everyone loved the food, they are still talking about it. My friend this morning said "the garlicky beans were sent straight from heaven!" I wish I had had an opportunity to taste them, did you know my husband and I never got to taste even ONE bite of food? We were so busy visiting, we never got to walk over to the buffet area. We were so hungry after we loaded the truck and left the venue so late, we had to stop at McDonalds and get a cold hamburger and fries! I couldn't believe it. Thousands of dollars on our daughter's wedding, and we ate cold McDonalds hamburger! That was my only regret for the evening, not being able to taste the delicious food that we worked so hard doing a menu for, didn't even get a chance to see what it looked like! Dummy us. The cake either! I saw the cake, just didn't get to taste a piece. Oh well, I heard the food was fabulous, and that's all that matters!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you all AT THE WINFIELD INN are AMAZING! Love, Robin

Classic, Flexible and Fun!
I had a fairly modest budget (as far as weddings go), but the gals at The Winfield Inn we more than happy to work with me to cut the price down to an affordable rate for me. There was a pending thunderstorm on the wedding day, and the Winfield team watched the radar to make sure we had time to get the ceremony finished and were real pep-talkers about the whole day. I felt comfortable, relaxed and like a princess!

Wonderful staff at Winfield
We're getting married at the Winfield Inn in May 2011. So far, the staff have been so gracious, friendly, and wonderful. I kind of feel like I'm their only bride. They are very responsive to my emails and calls, and have been completely available on my two visits to the venue. I trust these ladies completely, and am looking forward to having our wedding there; I know that they will take care of every detail and I won't have to worry.

They Made My Dreams Come True
I wanted a very unconventional menu, including a family recipe. After our first tasting there were a few things that needed to be tweeked, especially the family recipe. After working with our onsite coordinator and the Chef, HE NAILED IT!!! Our friends and family were blown away by the food and went out of their way to praise the menu. I could not have hoped for a better experience than what I received at The Winfield Inn. Not only is it one of the most beautiful and serene places that I have ever seen, but the staff there is impeccable. The team at The Winfield was always available for questions, they flexible with meeting times, and their Chef was incredible!!! I cannot speak more highly of group of people, they are truly wonderful.

Smooth sailing, from booking through the reception.
If you only plan to get married once, this is the place to do it. The Winfield is enchanting, and everything from the lush grounds to the twinkling lights and stately open-air ballroom give new meaning to "Southern charm." You can seat equal amounts of people -- around 500, I believe -- outside under the gorgeous oaks or under the outdoor ballroom, which features a beautifully spired ceiling and crystal chandeliers. This is what really wowed us on our first visit. On top of its incredible beauty and ambiance, the Winfield has some of the most amazing coordinators helping you during the entire course of planning. I can't speak for other coordinators since this is the only time I've been married, but the genuine willingness to provide excellent customer service comes so naturally to April, Robyn and the rest of the Winfield staff that I wonder if some people are just born to be excellent wedding coordinators. I exchanged at least 100 emails with them, and they always responded within hours or minutes of receiving them. They always have a recommendation at the ready, and no question is off limits. My husband and I wanted a simple wedding that fit within our budget, and the Winfield was so accommodating to both. We used minimal decorations and let the grounds speak for themselves, and our guests still commented on how beautiful everything was. Finally, on the day of the wedding, I never stressed about anything. The Winfield staff knows weddings, so they took everything we brought in boxes and set it up without any instructions. And guess what? It looked better than I could've imagined. All we had to do was wait for the ceremony to begin and wait for our coordinator to tell us what came next. The night flew by blissfully, and we managed to stay on track the entire time. I can't say enough about how stellar the Winfield Inn truly is. What special memories they helped us make!
Letter From a Bride:
We were married at The Winfield. We selected the Winfield on the day we visited the property, I knew it was the place the moment I set foot there. The ambiance and feel of The Inn is truly indescribable!
Jodi & April helped us with all of the details from chairs to food. They were always ready to recommend different companies for our cake, hair & make up, photography and much more. They answered all of my questions and truly helped structure of the event. They catered our food, which was phenomenal!
We did the food tasting which we thoroughly enjoyed, and it really helped me feel confident about the menu on the day of our wedding. Throughout my time spent with The Winfield, the entire staff was always ready to fulfill my every request.
We rented the grounds for the weekend, and I felt like a princess every minute of it! Our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner were held on Friday evening at The Inn, my bridesmaids & I stayed there that night and had the most wonderful breakfast on china the next morning. Following breakfast we started on hair and make-up (we had 9 girls to do so we had to start right away!) Being able to get ready in the side room at the Winfield with the view of the grounds which allowed us to watch the hustle & bustle going on below really was a lot of fun too! Luckily, despite the awful weather that had us all worried the night before, the day of the wedding was absolutely beautiful! Without even having to ask, the next morning you and some staff members were running around to pick up the moss balls that had fallen from the trees during the storm the night before as well as clean the grounds one last time. At the ceremony we had a memory table and candle lighting for my Mom who passed away when I was 14; it really helped make me feel like she was with me on my special day. We also had a flutist & guitarist to play while people were seated & they performed the ceremony music as well, it really helped set the mood. After the ceremony we took pictures in front of the house and then moved onto the reception in the Garden Ballroom where we had our first dance, cutting of the cake, toasts and bouquet & garter toss. There we had a jazz pianist who played & sang during our pictures and dinner; he also helped set the mood. Afterwards we had a DJ so we could get down and dance! My new husband & I then stayed there the night of our wedding. Although we missed dinner due to all of the commotion at the reception, plates were made and put in the refrigerator for us so we could eat later that night - you see, the staff is so wonderful that they thought about absolutely everything!
Jodi, April & their interns were present the entire time and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the night; and everything did! We had so much fun & everything was just as I had imagined it; very elegant. Everyone told me they had a ball and it was like being in a movie, they still rave about how our wedding was the best anyone has been to and of course about the food! Absolutely everything on our wedding day was wonderful and we truly thank the entire Winfield Inn staff for making it so!"
Warmest regards,
Emily
